Mingling with Minnie and friends
Apr. 17th, 2017 11:11 amTwo days in Disneyland last week--exciting, fun and exhausting! There were originally 13 in our party--6 moms, 7 girls (all with some sort of disability), 3 of whom were in wheelchairs. It all went as perfectly as could be considering the logistics! No broken feet (happened one year) no one was on antibiotics (happened one year) and no one got the flu--Demelza last year. We saw Minnie, Goofy, Peter Pan, many princesses and went on as many rides as we could jam into two days.
Disneyland is good about options for disabilities, including some rides have special cars for electric wheelchairs and passes to by pass some lines (we did use regular fast passes, as well). I was particularly happy to ride the Radiator Springs race car and Indiana Jones ride, as well as meet Princess Tiana with Demelza. We even ran into people we knew in the line for the Princess meet and greet!
The World of Color light and water show is worth the wait, if you come to Disneyland.
